Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born on 16 March, 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. Bea was on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comedian. After playing bits on a number of Irish and British TV shows from 2009, Bea was able to begin her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. Following 2012, she was performing in sketch comedy shows or sitcoms as well as other similar programming. After her victory during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. In 2016 and 2017, she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is an actress on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she was blessed with one sister called Sinead. She became only the second female winner of So You Think You're Funny in the year 2012. Her surname honors the memory of her late father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life when Bea was three years old. She did not know how he died until she turned 13 years old. To honor the man she loved, Bea adopted the stage-name Bea and in 2017, wrote an article about suicides in her family members for The Guardian. Bea as well as her older sister Sinead was raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney), a former jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. Their family was in love with horses and race meetings. Bea started out her career as a tour-guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the race industry wasn't the right fit for her.
